SportsManager Overview for MBGLL
MBGLL is using SportsManager for the Spring 2009 season to manage town contacts, teams, coaches, fields and scheduling. MBGLL Town Programs have the option (at no additional cost) of using SportsManager for player registration.
At a minimum, each town must enter the following information into SportsManager:
WE HAVE DEACTIVATED ALL TEAMS in SportsManager so that we can will be able to tell which towns we need to chase in mid-January. If you are already using SportsManager you will need to REACTIVATE them immediately. It's easy. In SportsManager:
1. Click on "Teams/Rosters"
2. See the two checkboxes labeled "Active" and "Inactive". Check the "Inactive" box and you will see all of your teams!
3. To reactivate a team, simply click on the team name in the list, set "Active" to "Yes", and click "Save Changes".
You must do this before you can do anything else with these teams. We apologize for the inconvenience, but there is no other easy way to know which teams are just left over from last year and which are accurate for 2009.
If you have any questions please contact your Division Director.
We will use the town contact information you enter as the basis for MBGLL email communications...so if you do not put yourself in the system you risk not being on the email list for important announcements. Similarly, information for coaches (such as rule clarifications) will only be sent to coaches listed in SportsManager.
Here are two documents on using SportsManager that you should review. Both are in Adobe Acrobat format. If you can't open these, download the free Acrobat Reader here.
