Location:  Triton Regional High School, 112 Elm Street, Byfield MA 01922

Shifts:  Saturday, 7a to 3:30p; Sunday, 7:30a to 3:30p

Duties could include the following:

Parking – Take copy of map and schedule in plastic sleeve, wear yellow vest.  Answer questions, direct cars to legal parking spots.  (The police will issue tickets and tow cars parked illegally.)

Officials Parking – Take copy of map and schedule in plastic sleeve, wear yellow vest.  Answer questions, direct cars to legal parking spots.  Only umpires (or handicapped) are permitted to park in the officials’ parking lot.

Garbage – First shift of the day walks around to all garbage cans and makes sure that there are 3 bags in the can below the open bag in the can.  (The empty bags will be used later in the day.)

All others walk around all fields and inspect the garbage cans.  If the bag is full, they tie the bag, pull it out, and set it beside the can.  Then the helper opens one of the spare bags (inside can already) and secures it inside of the can.  If we are down to our last spare bag, please let the registration desk know so that we may add more bags for future use.

Field Monitor – Sits at designated field monitor station.  Please put the field monitor vest on.  This person calls the registration desk with any medical or behavioral issues that need attended.  This person also blows the horn to start and stop play.  Description of duties is taped to the table at each station.

Central Horn Blower – Seated at the registration desk area.  This person will count down over the walkie talkie “5,4,3,2,1” and then will blow the main horn.  All other horns should sound at the same time.  The horn blower then checks off that the horn was blown at a particular time (on the horn schedule).
